What tiles would look best with 'space cream' and 'space burgundy' kitchen cabinets???

I have a kitchen with MFI space cream cabinets on the bottom andspace burgundy cabients on the top (it sound strange but it looks good!) and a black granite surface. I want to re-tile the kitchen or at least part of the kitchen but don't know what colour tile to go for. It is a relatively small kitchen with only one window so I would like to make it as bright as possible and have a black and white tiled splashback and then white tiles above the surfaces with the rest of the room painted white. Will this work? Can you have white tiles with cream cabinets? Will also be putting in slate flooring? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
