Numbness and wisdoms?

i had my wisdoms out 3 in total 1 at top and two at bottom, they were severly impacted and i was put to sleep, apparently all was well and a quick op, and surgeon said that they removed some bone, however i have developed the apparently rare numbness, i went back to see surgeon a week on and he said that he was supprised about this as he did not damage the nerve on extraction and should be fine, however i have a total numb tonge and it constantly tingles and tingles, feels worse on the morning, any ideas how long this may last or how longs others have lasted for >>> im sick of the tingle and trying to eat and not :-(
