It's not fair that some students can't go to college because they can't get any istance from the government

like pell grants or subsidized loans if their parents make like $40,000 a year. Doesn't the government realize that just because a students parents make that much money they still may not be not be able to afford to send their kid to college because of all their expenses? These students can get a job, but some on the cheapest tuition I've seen is about $1,500 a semster full time when you factor in rent and other expenses how many students can afford to pay this every semester with a minimum wage job?
