THE SIMS 3 ON PC HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Once, my sims refused to go up the stairs, even though nothing seemed to be in the way. I found out that a tree that was close to the outside wall was somehow intersecting the stair area, blocking the sims. Check for any trees that are very close to the house.
