Pot for Kitty, or not for Kitty??

I like to smoke a bowl of weed at night sometimes. My cat seems to know the routine. He loves to smoke with me. He crawls up in my lap and will put his face directly into the smoke as i exhale. Afterwards we both crawl into bed and snuggle up together, watch T.V and fall asleep. We really love to do this together, but i dont want to hurt him in the long run. Is it a cruel thing to share this activity??? I really do love him. Oooh and is he addicted? Is that possible?
