Is this amp gonna be okay?

i have 2 12" alpine type R's which will be powered by a hifonics bxi1208d. everything will get installed next friday but im wondering if the amp will be okay. i want to have it wired at 1 ohm so that its puting out 1200 watts RMS (about 600 watts to each sub) .... but i was wondering if you think this amp will overheat alot and shut off because its at 1 ohm and its not that great of an amp.. like if i had a rockford fosgate t1000bd i wouldnt be worried at all with having it wired at 1 ohm cause i know it wouldnt overheat and it could handle it.. but idk do you think im making a bad choice?
