I use yahoo chat often..how can I block public room bots as well as stop bot im's?

Unfortunately there isn't a straightforward way of doing this. You could either use an alternative chat client or you could do it manually by ignoring all the bots one by one and most importantly by changing your preferences so you do not accept IM from people who are not on your list.
