How to lift words off an imprinted sheet?

Good old cheap carbon paper if you can find it. Lay it over it and use a pencil. Much like copying headstones, etc at the cemetery. And, believe it or not, take it to your post office or any place where they have a good copy machine and experiment with the settings. First try darkest, and that may pick up the imprints, or try lightest.
