Bad or Good?

Just wondering, is this good or bad. I put up Smarties and Dum Dums on all the lockers at my school and a note that said "Don't be a Dum-Dum, Be a Smartie, Vote For Kiley!!" because I'm running for 8th Grade Cl President. Some people were trash talking me then saying how I bribed people and that it was sleezy. I worked very hard on them and had no intent to "bribe" people - just campaign! But this other girl did it and they said nothing! They're also saying I copied her when she did it a few days ago and I started mine 2 weeks ago!!! So, was the locker thing good or bad? I think it was good Campaigning Skills.
